INSPIRATION
When and why did you buy the property?
2015 we fall in love with the rural location and the building.
What was your inspiration for your home/build/restoration/extension?
The building was in a bad state our inspiration was to rebuild to a high standard but with the feel and look of the old building.
What were your initial plans / intentions?
We wanted to restore the house but this was not possible, (within our budget)
How important was the eco-factor in these original intentions?
Very important to be self sufficient in heating not using fossil fuels.
How important was the design?
We wanted the original house, by rebuilding this house we where able to make it energy friendly.

We have a 2 acres garden with flowers, tree’s and lawns, Sheep and chickens, and a poly tunnel.

Time scale of build: 1 year
Is there anything you would have done differently?
No we had a great builder and engineer who where very flexible, so we could change the things during the build.
